Well today marks day four of my Adsense Xfactor journey and I have just published Sites 3 and 4.

I’ve submitted three articles for each of the sites to EZA and added the homepage content to each site. It’s taken just over four hours to get both sites up and running and the articles written and submitted. At that rate it could become a Saturday morning task to publish new sites each week.

I’m slightly moving away from John’s plan at this stage because you’re supposed to work on two sites for a whole week submitting articles to EZA. Because I found 10 sets of keywords on my keyword finding day I’ve decided to just repeat the Day 1 activities until all ten sites are up and running. Then I’ll go back and submit the other backlink building articles. I figured this way they have time to settle in and hopfully for Google to index them all.

Sites 1 and 2 are still waiting to be indexed but I hope EZA will publish the article set I submitted for them at some point tomorrow and then I should hopefully start seeing some traffic.

I first heard about John’s Xfactor Adsense strategy last year but I’d spent so much money on ebooks and courses that I never actually took any action with that i decided I should skip it.

Fast forward to last week and some of my IM friends were talking about this great Adsense strategy that they thought was one worth investing some time and money in. Of course it was Xfactor strategy! This time I decided that since some trusted friends had recommended it I would take the plunge.

The eBook runs to just over 90 pages and let me say that I think it’s 90 plus pages of gold nuggets. It took me a few days to get through as I was quite busy but as soon as I’d read the last page I fired up Micro Niche Finder and was ready to take action. …click here to read more

This blog has been through many guises since I started it early last year; I think I’ve deleted all of the content in it more times than i care to remember! This year though I’m going to use it to really track my progress on my Internet Marketing journey – and I plan to actually make some progress!

I’ve been inspired by Sara at Noteworthy Tips and Ruth at Web Career Girl to start writing this blog again (so inspired in fact that if you visit Sara you might notice that her theme looks stranegly familier; she had it first!) I stumbled across their respective sites when researching the XFactor Adsense strategy and found their posts so motivating that I decided it was time to start writing my own again. They do say that writing down your goals and plans is the best way to achieve them don’t they?

So this year I have a few irons in the fire in the world of IM strategies. I have told myself that I will not be dabbling in new get rich quick strategies; that’s so 2009! I have a handful of strategies lined up and I will be using those to try and kick start my online earnings. Here’s what I have up my sleeve: …click here to read more

Just because you run an online business don’t think that you restrict your advertising efforts to online activities. Good old fashioned advertising flyers are a very cost effective marketing tool that you can use to spread the word about your business. You can hand them out, post them, hang them up, or even leave them where your clients and prospects can get them.

Whether you print your own flyers at home or ask a printing company to produce them for you there are a few things you need to consider to ensure your flyers work hard at bringing in new clients.

Pictures paint a thousand words

You need to get your point across clearly and in a limited amount of space – so where possible swap words for pictures! You can use photos or graphics to emphasise your product’s benefits.

Use your own photos or look for Royalty Free stock images online – just focus on delivering that message to your readers.

Focus on what’s important

Choose one important message and focus on it in your flyer. You want to catch the eye of your prosepctive clients and draw them in so that they want to contact you for more information.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it

If you have a trusted campaign or message that works for you then don’t be tempted to change it too much. Just because you know that the campaign has run before doesn’t mean that your new clients have seen it. And why change something that works already?

KISS

A good design doesn’t have to be complicated – so keep it simple! Don’t use more than two fonts on your flyer or you risk making it look amateruish and cluttered to your clients. Keep those colours to a minimum too.

Use an online printer

Keep the costs down by choosing an online printer instead of a traditional High Street company. Whether you decide to use a flyer, a poster or even a door hanger in your offline advertising campaigns you can find some great deals on printing at PS Print.

Don’t forget your URL

When designing your flyer make sure you display your URL clearly – remember the whole point of this exercise is to drive new clients to your website!

3 Ways PLR is Perfect for Podcasting

If you are a Podcasters or an Internet radio show host then you can use private label rights (PLR) content in a variety of ways to help boost your listenership. PLR articles aren’t just for information sites and here are a few ways you can put them to use as a podcaster.

1. Use the articles to post to a blog or website in between shows to keep your show fresh in your listener’s mind.

2. Use PLR to brainstorm future show topics.

3. Make recordings of the articles and post them as bonus or mini-podcasts.

No matter how you choose to use your PLR articles to boost your podcast, it’s extremely important that you realize you need to rework the original content to make it your own. Add your own thoughts, rewrite the content to make it fit your audience, add your own personal research and data, etc.
